Our Story
Established 18 years ago by Ar. Gaurav Khandelwal, Mayamatam Architects is an architectural and design practice based in Indore, shaped by a thoughtful relationship between culture, climate and context.
Inspired by the ancient Indian architectural text Mayamatam, the practice brings architecture, interior design, landscape and urban planning together to create considered spaces for living, working and gathering.
Each project reflects a commitment to sustainability, timeless aesthetics and attention to detail — creating places that feel meaningful today and endure for generations.
